Well well well, I've just been noticing a flood of anime more so than lately, and I must say that it's kind of.... odd. It's not in my nature to bash people for liking certain types of art, that's not what I'm doing, but I've just noticed that anime tends to get so much recognition when other art isn't getting as much. I was just looking at "popular deviants" here, and like 50%-60% of them were anime artists, many with millions of pageviews... where's the photographers, graphic designers, traditional artists, digital painters, skinners, concept artists???? It seems to me as if anime gets parised simply because it is anime, rather than because of how well it was done, or how much time was put in, or effort or hard work. I know art isn't defined by those things, but well.... does anyone hear me?
